HCMC - Everyday we communicate but are we really connecting? Within each soul, there are blanks that can only be filled by empathy.

The ability to engage with one another intellectually and emotionally helps form a connection among us that transcends all concepts about individuality, society and culture, which expands our perspectives and allows us to perceive things as multi-dimensional.

Mindful engagement spoken from the heart gives birth to art and sheds light on the unseen. It is to acknowledge that those concepts are neither right nor wrong, but to some extent relatable to humans from different backgrounds.

An ongoing exhibition called “Ellipsis” is an attempt by four image-making artists – Danny Bach, Minh Pham, Dat Vu and Cietisoo Nguyen – to connect and share with the creative community personal approaches to photography and image-making.

The exhibition is being held by Vietnam Giclée Lab, the first certified fine art print lab in Vietnam at co-working space Toong Minh Khai in District 3, HCMC. This free-entrance event is open to visitors from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. until August 18.

Located next to the Reunification Palace and Tao Dan Park on a total area of 1,700 square meters, Toong Minh Khai is equipped with utilities that can only be found in the world’s most progressive organizations such as exhibition area, library, resting space, indoor garden, bathroom, community bar, outdoor working area and concept store.
