HCMC - Lotte Engineering and Construction Vietnam Co., Ltd, (Lotte E&C) signed a strategic cooperation deal with Phu Cuong Group (PCG) on Wednesday, aimed at developing housing and trading projects in Vietnam. The signing ceremony took place at the Lotte Legend hotel, located on Ton Duc Thang Street in HCMC’s District 1.

The two parties signed an agreement on jointly developing the first condo building in Thanh My Loi Ward in District 2, which is expected to pave the way for further projects in the years to come.

The residential building, which boasts an ideal riverside location as it is near the Saigon River, comprises two 25-storey blocks, some 500 meters away from the administrative center of District 2.

The open-air structure of the building will provide ample fresh air, while a wide range of services will be available for the residents, such as shophouses, swimming pools, waterfalls and fitness centers. Once completed, the project with total investment capital exceeding VND1.5 trillion will offer 751 high-end apartments.

In addition, residents will enjoy several benefits, and they can easily access popular destinations, such as the Pearl Plaza complex, central District 1, the Vinmec International hospital, Vinschool, Cat Lai Port, Phu My Hung in District 7, Long Thanh and Tan Son Nhat International Airports.

Addressing the event, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nhu, chairwoman and general director of Hau Giang Trading Construction Investment JSC, a subsidiary of PCG, remarked that she had high hopes for the cooperation, adding that the well-known brand and qualifications of Lotte, along with PCG’s business experience, promise to boost the trading and housing sectors in the country. The event will create more favorable conditions for further collaboration in the fields of hospitality and tourism, she added.
