HCMC - “Balade en France” – a French food and culture festival – will be held in Hoa Lu Stadium in District 1, HCMC on December 1 and 2 to introduce prominent food and cultural features of France to people in the city.

This is part of the “Un Mois En France” (One Month in France) program, jointly held by the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the French Consulate General in HCMC and SOPEXA company.

There will be about 30 booths selling French products like cheese, cake, syrup, jam, and chocolate, with discounts of up to 50% in certain hours. Several French restaurants in the city, including Jardin des Sens Restaurant with Michelin-starred Chef Richard Toix, will showcase some of the most favorite French dishes.

In addition, guests can take part in other activities like lucky draw, wine tasting, face painting, Henna tattoo, and music performances.

“This year’s event is more special than previous ones as it takes place right after the official visit to Vietnam by French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe. We expect more than 4,000 people to join the two-day event,” said French General Consul Vincent Floreani.

After HCMC, “Balade en France” will also be organized in Hanoi from December 14 to 16.
