HCMC - ICC-Kajima, a joint venture between Indochina Capital and Kajima Corporation, hosted its groundbreaking ceremony for Wínk 75 Nguyen Binh Khiem, the first Wínk Hotel in Vietnam, on November 30.

Located in a rapidly gentrifying area within District 1, the central business district of HCMC, Wínk 75 Nguyen Binh Khiem will appeal to the young-at-heart business and leisure travelers. The 237-room hotel will offer modern design, co-working space, innovative food and beverage concepts, cutting edge technology and beautifully appointed minimalist-style guestrooms.

Addressing the ceremony, Peter Ryder, CEO of Indochina Capital, said: “This is a memorable milestone for ICC-Kajima. We have worked very hard to reach this point and I would like to congratulate ICC-Kajima, the on-the-ground-team and my partners from Kajima in Tokyo and Singapore. We are very excited to start construction of the Wínk Hotel at 75 Nguyen Binh Khiem.

“The company has a clear strategy which addresses the current and future demands of the market in Vietnam, with a focus on delivering visionary real estate developments while maintaining our commitment to architectural excellence, international construction standards, environmental sustainability and social responsibility.”

Wínk 75 Nguyen Binh Khiem is set to open in the first quarter of 2020, and shortly thereafter, will be followed by Wínk Hotels in Hanoi, Danang, Haiphong and others.

Working closely with AW2, a Paris-based architecture company, and QUO Global, an innovative hospitality branding agency, Wínk aims to establish itself as a leading lifestyle brand with its forward-thinking approach and commitment to embracing both the modern and the traditional.
