Ha Nam reports two more people positive for SARS-CoV-2

HCMC - Ha Nam’s Center for Disease Control has reported two more people tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 for the first time.

These two cases, a female patient born in 1958 and a male patient born in 1996, both reside in Tho Lao village, Dao Ly commune, Ly Nhan district.

As of 7 a.m. May 3, 14 people in Ha Nam province tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, since the outbreak in Quan Nhan village, Dao Ly commune, Ly Nhan district.

The provincial center for disease control collected 3,800 Covid-19 samples and tested 3,784 of them.

As field hospitals in Ha Nam have started receiving F1 cases, the health department is pushing the implementation of the 5K protocol as well as broadcasting important epidemiological locations in mass media, providing quarantining guidance for F2 at home, resuming the investigation and tracing of those in close contact with positive cases.

The province has deployed eight teams charged with disease prevention and collection of samples, inspecting and supervising to ensure food safety at quarantine facilities.
